Mazaheri brings a strong background in real estate and in the past year has moved into the commercial sector. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Mazaheri served as property manager and supervisor of multi-housing for Mazaheri Properties in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mazaheri provided oversight of all leasing and management activities, as well as supervision and hiring of staff. Mazaheri had previously served for a year as an intern and advocate for young leaders at the National Council of La Raza, in Washington, D.C. Additionally, for over seven years she had been active in the organization as a mentor and youth leader. At Oklahoma City University, Mazaheri served as the founder and director of the Hispanic Student Association’s Latino Youth Leadership Conference, whose mission is to provide a forum for young people of the Hispanic community to come together in a comfortable, open environment to educate, discuss, motivate, and build today’s leaders. In 2001 and 2004, Mazaheri was awarded the Latino Community Development Agency's Guardian Angel Award for her outstanding work as a mentor. Mazaheri is also an alum of Leadership Oklahoma City’s Young Adult Leader's (L.O.Y.A.L.) Class I. Mazaheri earned a bachelor’s in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing and Management from Oklahoma City University in Oklahoma City, OK.
