Keith Kidwell serves as managing director for Sperry Van Ness/Commercial Realty. With more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience, Kidwell specializes in industrial and investment property transactions in South Florida, having completed more than 450 career transactions valued in excess of $300 million. Signature deals include the sale of the 291,292 square foot Historic Church Street Station in Orlando, Florida and the sale of the 32 acre WorldCom facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Kidwell served as a senior associate for NAI Rauch, Weaver, Norfleet, Kurtz & Company for 10 years, earning the title of Top Producing Associate. His extensive experience has included many aspects of commercial real estate including construction, leasing, management, and brokerage of commercial properties. Throughout his career, Kidwell has stayed an active member of the commercial real estate community. He is a member of the Society of Commercial Realtors where he served as President in 1998, the Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He holds the designations of Society of Office and Industrial Realtors (SIOR) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), as well as a Florida Mortgage Broker's License and a Florida Building Contractor's License. Kidwell remains active in his community and currently serves as a board member for both The Broward Alliance (Broward’s official economic development board) and The Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Board. Kidwell graduated from the University of Florida, School of Building Construction in 1988 and in 1990 received his State of Florida Building Contractor License. He remains active in his community and has served on the board for The Broward Alliance—Broward’s official economic development board—and The Pompano Beach Community Re-development Board. He is an avid fisherman and is a member of the Lauderdale Yacht Club and holds a United States Coast Guard Masters Captains License.
