Hewett serves as a managing director for Sperry Van Ness / Doran Jason Group, Inc., specializing in sports and fitness clubs, sale-lease back financing, and office condominiums in South Florida. Hewett is a 21-year veteran of commercial real estate and also has extensive experience in real estate development. In the last two years, $110 million of his sales volume was the result of just two of the assemblage and entitlement projects he headed. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness in 2006, Hewett partnered with Doran Jason and the Doran Jason Group in the company’s Eastern European venture. He was responsible for organizing and opening offices in Kiev, Ukraine. While there, he also set up a full service real estate brokerage and development company and a commercial construction firm. During his tenure in Kiev, he managed the development of residential and office space, along with the development of the largest fitness facility in the former Soviet Union, the 30,000 square-foot Kiev Sports Club. Since his return to the United States, Hewett has worked diligently on two goals, growing the Doran Jason Group brokerage business and assembling and entitling land throughout Florida. Hewett is a member of the board of the American Red Cross and a committee chairman at the Key Biscayne Yacht Club.
