Biography
|
Carson Longo serves as an associate advisor for Sperry Van Ness/Blackpoint Realty, LLC specializing in the sale and lease of retail property and the sale of land in Manatee County and Sarasota County, Florida. Longo has over three years of commercial real estate industry experience and is licensed in both Florida and North Carolina.
Prior to affiliating with Sperry Van Ness, Longo served as a vice president of Commercial Real Estate Lending with Regions Bank in both Naples and Bradenton, Florida. He has financed office, land, multifamily and residential real estate. He produced approximately $35 million in new loans annually while at Regions Bank.
Previously, Longo owned and operated DDS Consulting, Inc., a business consulting firm that advised and assisted clients in the biotechnology, music and non-profit sectors with business plans, venture funding presentations, due diligence, business strategies and non-profit status filing. In addition, Longo consulted in software, hardware, telephony and optical networking development for twenty years. Longo has worked with well known clients including Environmental Innovations, International Business Machines, Nortel Networks, Pitney Bowes, Texas Instruments and Lucent Technologies where he managed the development of a major optical networking switch project.
Active in the community, Longo is a member of the Board of Directors for the Arts Council of Manatee County, a member of the Economic Development Council of Manatee County Office Space Committee, and a member and mentor coordinator of a Business Network International chapter. Additionally, Longo is a member of the Chamber of Commerce in both Manatee and Sarasota counties.
Longo earned a Masters of Business Administration from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York; majoring in both Psychology and Computer Science. He is also licensed Mortgage Broker in Florida.
